It’s April already~ That means, Foxes are delighted to share a new walk with you. This month, we would like to share with you a path that we step on quite often and take on a more artistic expression of our journey.
Don’t you think St. Mary’s Church steeple looks very Gaudi style? We only went in once to buy Christmas cards and would love to go up the church tower to overlook the Angel area from above.
We spent a lovely afternoon cruising on the busy Upper Street and along Essex Road, and walked the small alleyway beside the Kings pub to the secret garden behind the beautiful St. Mary’s Church (edit: check out our church visit here). This garden is a hidden gem to the local residents – always filled with people relaxing and exercising in the sunny afternoon. Although it can be easily accessed from Upper Street, not many people would notice this lovely urban greenery.
So if you ever come by Angel, instead of going to the always crowded Islington Green why not drop by this tranquil little garden and have a picnic with the local residents. Let’s keep this secret between you and me, shall we? ;)
